Promovision Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

This policy applies to everyone who uses Promovision. It forms part of the Terms of Service. The short version: use the platform to run a legitimate business; don't use it to harm, deceive, or spam anyone.

Prohibited

Messaging abuse. Sending commercial email or SMS without the consent CASL requires; buying or scraping contact lists; removing, disabling, or circumventing unsubscribe mechanisms; sending content that is deceptive or misrepresents the sender.

Telephony abuse. Using provisioned phone numbers or the AI receptionist for robocalling, artificially generated traffic, caller-ID spoofing, or harassment.

Unlawful or harmful content. Publishing or transmitting content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights; impersonating another person or business; fraudulent listings, fake reviews, or deceptive pricing.

Platform abuse. Probing, scanning, or testing the security of the Service without written permission; attempting to access another business's data; interfering with the Service's operation; scraping the Service or directory at scale; reselling access to the Service without our agreement; creating accounts by automated means.

AI misuse. Using AI features to generate content that is illegal, deceptive (including content presented as human-authored where the law requires disclosure), or that violates any of the above.

Your responsibilities

Keep your credentials secure and your team-member access current (remove departed staff). Ensure you have the right to upload the data you put into the Service. Comply with the laws that apply to your business and your communications, including CASL, privacy law, and consumer-protection law.

Enforcement

We may remove content, throttle or disable features (including messaging and telephony), suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations — with notice where practicable, immediately where the violation creates risk to others. We may report unlawful activity to authorities where required.
